Preview: UNDERGROUND vs BCC Grundies

The equation is simple for Underground: win and you avoid the drop; lose and destiny is out of your hands.

MISSING IN ACTION: Matiu Workman lands his first start of the 2013 season in a new 5-4-1 combination. The defence will need to be spot on if they're to secure just their second win of the campaign. Malcolm Turner continues his time away from the team due to family reasons.

FORM: A side that looked to promise plenty in 2013, Underground plain and simply haven't shown up this season. Whether it's down to the unavailability of key strike weapons Sam Foster or Andrew Dunn is one thought, but a lack of holding onto possession that is frustrating the side.

Grundies have had a similarly frustrating half season and look in danger for the drop. If they were lacking any sort of motivation heading into this match, survival should spurn them on come Saturday.

WE THINK: It should be a gritty match with both sides conservatively defending their lines bravely to avoid relegation. A drop for Grundies would indicate a big slide for the two-time Premier League finalists, while a half-season in the third division isn't something the orange and blacks will want to think about.

However, Underground's defending hasn't been as poor as the scorelines indicate and a bolstered backline should see them secure survival. Underground by two.
