Underground suffered a stunning defeat at the hands of a resurgent Stallion side. A lack of fitness and accuracy proved costly as Underground were overrun by a side in unstoppable form.
With some key players unavailable for this game Underground were always up against it. An early goal to Sam Foster against the run of play was the perfect start for his side.
No one could have predicted the backlash which was to follow however. The Stallions went on the rampage as they threw players forward confusing the Underground defence causing disarray amongst the ranks. Shear pace and the ability to keep possession helped Stallion to create multiple opportunities that lead to five unanswered goals throughout the rest of the game. The Underground side were out on their feet as they struggled to keep up with the pace of the game.
With a bye next week UFC have the chance to work on their fitness and touch in preparation for the next game. Bouncing back will be hugely important for Underground as they seek to reignite their season. This match will undertake a whole new level of importance as they take on arch rivals Hillsborough.
